Position: Reception/ Administrative Assistant
Summary: The position of Reception / Administrative Assistant exists to support the overall strategy of the agency to provide tailored, full-service insurance programs to its clients. The Reception / Administrative Assistant assists the entire staff with general office support and business process processes and procedures to maximize the productivity and profitability of the agency.
Duties: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide office reception for calls and visitors.
• Assist office staff with clerical, presentations, research, and communications.
• Coordinate office supplies, and other office functions for optimum office productivity.
• Maintain data, filing, and communications associated with assigned special projects, including special client services, such as insurance certificate tracking.
• Any other tasks as assigned to support and service the agency’s clients.
Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS:
Possess strong time management and organization skills for prioritizing multiple projects and meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively using verbal and written skills. Strong analytical skills for working with highly detailed information.
1-2 years of office operations. Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Word required. Applied Systems TAM preferred. Intermediate to advanced experience with other office software such as, PDF management software, Microsoft Powerpoint and others. Ability to work using phones and computers for much of the work day.
High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors’ Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
